Jesus, Author of Our Faith is unavailable, but you can change that!

These are sermons Tozer preached on the second half of the book of Hebrews at Avenue Road Alliance Church in Toronto. We must, Tozer warns, refuse to walk in agreement with the ungodly multitude of our own generation. Here he concentrates on faith—how it answers when God calls, how it has eyes only for Jesus, how it rests on an unchanging Jesus.

These observations bring to mind the faith of one man—Enoch—who lived near the beginning of our race. We can only wonder how he would have measured Christianity as we know it in the twentieth century! One of the greatest Bible commentaries on godly faith is the single sentence in Genesis telling us that “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him” (Genesis 5:24).
